About Me

Hi, I’m Michael (Mick) Cook, an Authorised Marriage Celebrant since 2006, over those years helping many couples of the South Coast & Southern Highlands in planning and celebrating their wedding day.

The adage of “Your Day – Your Way” is the approach I take with every ceremony I’m privileged to be a part of.

I’m here to assist you with doing exactly that, to make your day just the day you have imagined or dreamed it to be, whether formal or casual, a ceremony that is you.

I’d love to hear all of your thoughts and ideas, and guide you through the entire planning process to see your special day is everything that you wish it to be.

So give me a call, email or Facebook Messenger, I’d love to chat to you about your Special Day!

So the celebration begins

At our first meeting we can get to know one another and discuss all aspects and Ideas for the ceremony. All marriage paperwork can be done at that time also, which I will attend to as part of my service. A booking form will need to be completed and initial deposit paid to secure your date and time.

We chose Mick to do our wedding as we had been to many of his ceremonies before, and they were all unique and well suited to the couple that were getting married. From the first time we approached Mick about doing our ceremony, he was well organised and very easy to work with.

He listened to what we wanted, and helped us create the exact atmosphere that we wanted.  Mick had so many wonderful ideas about our ceremony. We wanted to include our Grandmothers and Siblings, and he came up with a great way of involving everyone. Our ceremony was intimate, relaxed and romantic. It was everything we wanted.

We will always remember the beautiful ceremony we had, and all the hard work Mick put in to our special day to make it perfect for us. We could not have asked for a better person to marry us.

We would have no hesitation at all in recommending Mick as a Marriage Celebrant.

When we decided to get married there was only one thing we were certain of (other than each other of course), that we wanted Mick Cook to be our celebrant.

We hadn’t set a date or a venue, but first thing was first, when was Mick free?

We had seen Mick marry many of our friends and family and he had always done a fantastic job. He worked with us to deliver a beautiful ceremony and on the day with 10 kids in the bridal party he was flexible, entertaining and full of grace.

Thank you Mick for all your time and the wonderful job you did for us. Everyone raved about you and as always, you had everyone in either stitches of laughter or tears of happiness.

We couldn’t recommend Mick enough.

We met with Mick prior to our big day, and although we have had many laughs and fun times, he was very professional, relaxed and made us feel at ease. Mick took the time to make everything personal and really wanted to know our values and helped us put the pieces together to make our day truly valuable.

Most of our guests have told us that it was one of the best wedding ceremonies they have been too. Mick had our guests laughing and crying throughout the ceremony. Thank you so much Mick for making our day so memorable.

We would not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone. Just wish we could do it all again!!!
